Improvements & Upgrades for the Upcoming Ski Season As we close out a beautiful Autumn in the Crowsnest Pass and turn the page into November and the upcoming winter season, we'd like to share some of the upgrades we've undertaken since we saw you all last in March. Riversdale Resources Beginner Area Upgrade

Check out our new friends! This summer, our friends at Riversdale Resources sponsored a beginner area overhaul at Pass Powderkeg. The update includes foam blocks and lions for the Cubs program, hoops, brushes and gates for our snow school, new beginner area signs and the re-grade of Bush Trail and Goblin. Thank you FCC!

We have just completed a project to upgrade our Lodge washrooms, thanks to a generous gift of $15,000 from the FCC Agri-Spirit Fund.  With this grant, we completed the following upgrades: Non-slip, rubbber flooring to replace the old tile foor Custom stainless steel trough sinks and new faucets New toilets A big thank you to FCC and to the Pass Powderkeg Ski Society for applying for and administering the grant.

A Work of Art

Last year, we received an email out of the blue from a former Crowsnest Pass resident inquiring about creating a hand-painted trail map.  She had been back skiing at PPK a few weeks previous and got the idea after seeing the existing trail maps.  Most impressive of all to our not-for-profit ears, she was not looking for any compensation.  Rather, her motivations were to create a legacy image that captures the various terrain elements of her home hill.  Guess what our response was.
