DESCRIPTION:Important: Guests require a time slot booking.\nAnyone without a time slot booked will not be admitted. \nSee Booking Links Below \n\n\nDetails\n\n\nTimes: Friday\, Nov. 7 / 5:00pm-8:00pm  &  Saturday Nov. 8 / 10:00am-1:00pm\nLocation: MDM Building\, 2802-222 St\, Bellevue AB\nAdmission: Suggested Donation at Door to Pass Powderkeg Ski Society or KidSport Crowsnest Pass\n\n\n\nTrade-ins / Consignments\n\nTrade-ins / Consignments will be handled entirely by Alpenland and will be at their discretion.  Please see process/options for consignment below. \nEquipment will be accepted in one of 2 ways: \n\n\n\n1) Trade-In for Store Credit Option: Take Equipment into either of Alpenland‘s locations (Crowsnest Pass or Lethbridge) any time in advance of the Ski Swap.  Depending on the quality/condition of your equipment\, Alpenland may offer a credit to be used during the Ski Swap or on in-store Alpenland purchases. \nOR \n2) Consignment: Bring your gear to the Ski Swap venue (MDM Building) on Friday\, Nov. 7 from 3pm-5pm.  Gear will not be accepted past 5pm on Friday.  Depending on the quality/condition of your equipment\, you will agree a sales price for Alpenland to consign your equipment at the swap (for 15% commission).  Consignments ($ for sold gear/pickup of unsold gear) must be settled between 12:00pm-1:00pm on Saturday\, Nov. 8. \nNote: Straight Skis and Helmets will not be accepted. \n  \nCrowsnest Nordic Club ‘Kids Loan Program’\nThe Crowsnest Nordic Club will be set up in the hallway just outside of the gymnasium to hand out equipment for their Kids Ski Loan Program. \n\nTime Slots for this area are SEPARATE from the Ski Swap and need to be booked separately (1 time slot per family unit).  If you wish to participate in both\, please ensure that you book a time slot to each event. \nPlease review the following important information regarding your ski loan appointment: \n\nSki equipment is primarily for ages 4-12.\nYou must be a member of the Crowsnest Nordic Ski Club to loan equipment. The jolly fella will also have some chocolate on hand to give out! \nWhile he’s exploring Pass Powderkeg\, Santa’s elves will be set up on the lodge patio with a hot chocolate bar. They’ll be serving it up with all the fixins; whipped cream\, chocolate shavings and crushed candy cane! Hot chocolate will be by donation (cash only) to the PPK Ski Society. \nThank you to CNP 40 for helping us host Santa this year!

SUMMARY:Human Dog Sled Race
DESCRIPTION:  \n \nOur ever-popular Human Dog Sled race is back!\n\n\n  \n \nGo head to head in a race against time in this thrilling 400ft race to the finish. Teams of 3 will race to have the best time in order to win their category. Races are hosted at the PPK Lodge. Participants must be over the age of 12 and must complete a signed waiver/release of liability document. Participants under the age of 18 must have an adult or guardian sign the waiver. \nTeam Categories:\n– Teen (ages 12-17)\n– Adult (ages 18+)\n– Family (teens and adult combination). \nTeam Rules:\n1. All members must submit a signed waiver/release\n2. Children must be 12 years of age or older. The waiver must be signed by a parent or guardian over the age of 18.\n3. Two teams will compete against one another and the first entire sled with participants to cross over the finish line will win the race.\n4. The “Musher” (team member on the back of the sled) may push start the sled up to the line.\n5. Once the sled has crossed the start line\, the “Musher’s” feet must remain on the sled in order to not aid the sled across the finish line\, EXCEPT at the 200′ turn to head home. \n*Any infraction of the rules above may result in team disqualification. \nExcited?
