DESCRIPTION:Important: Guests require a time slot booking.\nAnyone without a time slot booked will not be admitted. \nSee Booking Links Below \n\n\nDetails\n\n\nTimes: Friday\, Nov. 7 / 5:00pm-8:00pm  &  Saturday Nov. 8 / 10:00am-1:00pm\nLocation: MDM Building\, 2802-222 St\, Bellevue AB\nAdmission: Suggested Donation at Door to Pass Powderkeg Ski Society or KidSport Crowsnest Pass\n\n\n\nTrade-ins / Consignments\n\nTrade-ins / Consignments will be handled entirely by Alpenland and will be at their discretion.  Please see process/options for consignment below. \nEquipment will be accepted in one of 2 ways: \n\n\n\n1) Trade-In for Store Credit Option: Take Equipment into either of Alpenland‘s locations (Crowsnest Pass or Lethbridge) any time in advance of the Ski Swap.  Depending on the quality/condition of your equipment\, Alpenland may offer a credit to be used during the Ski Swap or on in-store Alpenland purchases. \nOR \n2) Consignment: Bring your gear to the Ski Swap venue (MDM Building) on Friday\, Nov. 7 from 3pm-5pm.  Gear will not be accepted past 5pm on Friday.  Depending on the quality/condition of your equipment\, you will agree a sales price for Alpenland to consign your equipment at the swap (for 15% commission).  Consignments ($ for sold gear/pickup of unsold gear) must be settled between 12:00pm-1:00pm on Saturday\, Nov. 8. \nNote: Straight Skis and Helmets will not be accepted. \n  \nCrowsnest Nordic Club ‘Kids Loan Program’\nThe Crowsnest Nordic Club will be set up in the hallway just outside of the gymnasium to hand out equipment for their Kids Ski Loan Program. \n\nTime Slots for this area are SEPARATE from the Ski Swap and need to be booked separately (1 time slot per family unit).  If you wish to participate in both\, please ensure that you book a time slot to each event. \nPlease review the following important information regarding your ski loan appointment: \n\nSki equipment is primarily for ages 4-12.\nYou must be a member of the Crowsnest Nordic Ski Club to loan equipment. You can become a member now at this link http://www.skicrowsnest.ca/ or you can join on the ski loan day. If you choose to join on ski loan day\, please bring a credit card to complete the online payment.\n** Priority for gear is given to those enrolled in our ski programs.** Ski Program information can be found on the Crowsnest Nordic Ski Club Website. The program costs $25.00 per child for the season. You can register and pay for all family members who will be participating in learn to ski programs this season as part of your membership renewal process. \nYou are required to **bring a $125.00 damage deposit per equipment set.** We accept cash\, eTransfer\, and cheque for the equipment deposit. DESCRIPTION:Join us for the final No Pressure Race Series!\n\n\n  \n \nEver wanted to try your hand at racing just for fun? Now’s your chance! Our new No Pressure Race Series is a non-competitive way for you to try it out in a fun and encouraging environment.\n\n\nRacers to meet at the lodge to check in at 6:00 PM. Inspection to begin at 6:15 and then racing to begin at 6:30 and end at 7:45. There will be a coach on site but the focus is FUN! Skiing and snowboarding permitted.\n\n\nThank you to the PPK Ski Society for their assistance in launching this program.\n\n\nRules:\n1. Participants must sign a waiver prior to racing\n2. Bibs must be picked up from the lodge during check-in\n3. Helmets are mandatory for all participants\n4. Registration will be capped at 40 to ensure everyone gets a minimum of 2 runs\n5. No speed suits permitted

DESCRIPTION:Dummy Downhill \n\n\n  \n \nDon’t miss PPK’s annual Dummy Downhill on March 14! \nBring your cardboard dummy to the lodge starting at 11 a.m. so folks can admire your handiwork. Come 12 p.m. our judges will look at all of the dummies to determine the winner in the Best Design category. Once judging is over\, everything will be moved to Daredevil’s Dip for the start of the downhill portion of the event. \nStart time for dummies going off the jump at Daredevil’s Dip will be 1 p.m. \nHere’s some important rules to remember: \n1. This is a family-friendly event\, which means all dummies must be suitable for all ages to see. Anything deemed inappropriate will not be permitted. \n2.  Safety is top-of-mind. No pyrotechnics\, fire\, dangerous items\, etc. incorporated with your dummy. \n3. This event is FREE to enter! Registration will open March 7 at Guest Services and will end at 12 p.m. on the day of the event. Entries arriving after this time will not be able to participate. \n4. Prizes will follow after the event concludes.

DESCRIPTION:Closing Day Slush Cup \n\n\n  \n \n\nIt’s time to celebrate the end of another great season at PPK!  Join us at the bottom of the hill for our Slush Cup\, as well as the PPK Ski Society’s annual Closing Day BBQ. Burgers and hot dogs will be grilled up and ready for your enjoyment from 11:00am to 2:30pm.\n\n\n\nSlush Pit Rules\n\n\n– Register at Guest Services before 12:00pm on March 29 to test your skills\n\n\n– Slush Cup starts at 1:30pm\n\n\n– Everyone must have a helmet to enter the slush pit and a waiver must be signed for all participants (those under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign for them)\n– Rental gear is NOT permitted in the Slush Cup\n\n\n– Costumes are encouraged!
