SUMMARY:Human Dog Sled Races
DESCRIPTION:  \n \n\nA Wintervention classic\, the races will take place up at the Pass Powderkeg lodge area from 1-4pm on Sunday February 13. Teams of 3 (either 3 adults\, 3 youth or a combination of youth and adult) will race against another team. First team to cross the finish line will win.\n\nSIGN UP: Please email cnp40youth@gmail.com with your team members and team name.\n\nRules:\n1. All team members must submit a signed waiver.\n2. Children must be 12 years of age or older. Waivers must be signed by a parent or guardian in order to race.\n3. Two teams will compete against each other and the first entire sled with participants to cross over the finish line will win the race.\n4. The “Musher” may push start the sled up to the start line.\n5. Once the sled has crossed the start line\, the mushers feet must remain on the sled in order to not aid the sled across the finish line EXCEPT at the turnaround zone.\n*Any infraction of the above rules may result in team disqualification.\n\nTeam Rules:\nTeen category: 3 teens age 12-17\nAdult category: 3 adults age 18+\nFamily: Combination of teens and adults.\nTwo people will pull the sled and one will be the musher.\n\nEquipment provided. Any footwear is permissible\, aside from metal spikes.\n\nPRIZES:\n1st and 2nd place prizes for all 3 categories\nPrizes for best costume\nDraw Prizes

The choice is yours.\n\nEach person can enter once through the weekend for great prizes. Cards must be returned by the end of Monday Feb. 21. The draw will be on Tuesday Feb 22 and winners will be notified via email.
